Kincaid mayor Bill Jarrett turned in his letter of resignation at Monday’s village board meeting. Jarrett was first appointed mayor in March of 2016 and was elected to his first full term last year.

Jarrett says he is resigning because of health issues.

Jarrett thanks the community for their support during his time as mayor.

The board will now start the search for a replacement to serve out the rest of Jarrett’s term.
