Salvation Army Bell Ringers Are Opening 2017 Season

The holidays are upon us, and the Salvation Army bell ringers will once again be collecting money at area stores. Volunteers are also still needed for some days this season.

Bill Kerns is the co-coordinator with the Salvation Army bell ringers. He says at least 85 percent of the money raised will stay in the area.

Kerns, along with his co-coordinator Bob Cook, have filled many of the volunteering slots but some volunteers are still needed.

Kerns says you can volunteer to ring bells by calling him at 824-8181 or by private messaging Davis Memorial Christian Church on Facebook.
