The warm weather is around the corner and the Taylorville Community Garden is preparing to start its third season of growing fruits and vegetables. Member of the Taylorville Community Garden, Patty Rykhus, tells Regional Radio they will teach you how to grow food.

TCG is a volunteer organization. It is open to anyone interested in volunteering in the garden and helping people in need of locally-grown fresh food. Rykhus says it’s more than just helping in the garden, they need help on the outside as well.

The Taylorville Community Garden is located on the south lot at Davis Memorial Christian Church at 1500 West Franklin.
