On Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Christian County 911 received a call regarding a male juvenile had shot himself in the arm at a residence in Fairview Trailer Court. The Taylorville Police Department and Taylorville Fire Department responded to the incident.
The juvenile victim was transported by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield for medical treatment. It was determined the injuries were not life threatening in nature.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
