A deputy with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office is under investigation by the Illinois State Police and has been placed on paid administration leave.
In a conversation with Christian County Sheriff, Bruce Kettlelkamp this morning, a deputy with the county was placed on administration leave back on January 27th. Sheriff Kettlelkamp did not give the name of the deputy but did say there is an ongoing criminal investigation by the Illinois State Police.
In a phone call to the Illinois State Police, they did confirm there is an investigation with a deputy, but did not comment about whom or what the investigation was about.
