THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERRIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Mathew T. Norris, 28, of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for failure to appear. His bond was set at $5,750.

Jason M. Barr, 41, of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for bond forfeiture warrant. His bond was set at $50,000.

Tandy T. Melton, 45, of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for an original arrest warrant. Bond was set at $1,750.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Alicia J. Kee, 36, of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for driving while her license was suspended.

ACCIDENTS:

Russell L. Wickline, 63, of Decatur was heading East on Adams St. and failed to yield at the intersection of Cherokee. Eugene V. Bertucci, 87, of Taylorville was driving North on Cherokee when Wickline struck his right driver side bumper of his vehicle. Wickline had both front air bags deploy. Bertucci had major damage to the hood, front bumper, and front grill. He was able to drive away unlike Wickline, who had his vehicle towed away. Wickline was issued a citation for failing to yield or stop at the intersection.
