Bauer Financial, Incorporated of Coral Gables, Florida, the nation's credit union and bank rating firm, has announced that a Taylorville credit union has earned a 5-star rating.

Bauer says that the Taylorville Community Credit Union's 5-star rating makes the local institution one of the strongest in the nation, according to Bauer president Karen Dorway. Dorway adds that T-C-C-U has earned this 5-star rating for 78 consecutive quarters, and is among an elite group of what Bauer calls “exceptional performance credit unions” in the nation.

T-C-C-U celebrates 59 years in business in 2015, and has branches in Taylorville, Litchfield and Hillsboro.
