A Taylorville man is being held on $500,000 bond after his arrest Thursday morning (12-10) on child pornography charges. 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office was reportedly contacted by a local business saying something inappropriate had been found on an employee's workplace computer. After an investigation, 34 year-old Jarod C. Reber of Taylorville was arrested on child porn charges. Investigators say they also found evidence that Reber had secretly videotaped an underage girl undressing in a bathroom.

After obtaining a search warrant for Reber's home, several electronic devices were reportedly confiscated. Along with the Sheriff's Office,  the investigation was conducted by Tayloville Police and by the Illinois Attorney General's Office.
