3 Busted in Taylorville Meth Lab Search

The Taylorville Police Department tells Regional Radio News that 3 people have been charged in connection with a search in a Taylorville residence Monday.

Police executed a search warrant in connection with the unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine at 708 West Vandeveer in Taylorville, and as a result arrested 41-year-old Richard C. Shivers, 64-year-old Linda K. Johnson, and 45-year-old Tina M. Galyean. All 3 were arrested without incident, and charged with aggravated unlawful participation in meth production, and unlawful possession of meth manufacturing materials.

The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team assisted in the dismantling and clean-up of the meth-related materials.

Taylorville Police tell Regional Radio News that the arrests are as a result of an ongoing investigation by T-P-D into the unlawful manufacture of meth.
