Taylorville Native Craig Lindvahl To Appear At Book Signing December 6

 width=Well-known educator and film-maker, and Taylorville native, Craig Lindvahl, will be attending a book signing for his new book, Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday, at Cottage Rose in Taylorville on Saturday, December 6 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Lindvahl has had an interesting life. He’s a gifted musician, a nationally known educator, and a Mid America Emmy award winning filmmaker. He’s just added the title “author” to his impressive list of accomplishments.

Lindvahl says he's taught every grade from K-12, and taught music, band, filmmaking, and entrepreneurship, but mostly he says he's tried to teach about life, including his growing up in Taylorville. He says he strives every day to encourage people to be the best they can be.

Drawing on the wide variety of life experiences and interesting people that have populated his career, Lindvahl has assembled the essential ingredients for personal and professional success into Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday, a collection of wit and wisdom that offers readers insights and inspiration.

Lindvahl is the executive director of the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship (www.midlandinstitute.com) and oversees the CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) program, which will soon have more than 25 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Missouri. Christian County will join the CEO network with a class of its own in the fall of 2015.

20% of the proceeds from book sales at the signing will go to the newly formed Christian County CEO program.
