Accident Claims Third Teen

 
 An accident last week near Raymond has claimed a third life. According to a press release from Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards, 17 year-old Dana Janssen of Harvel was pronounced dead Saturday evening a Springfield Hospital. According to her facebook page, Dana was a student at Lincolnwood High School, as were the other two victims.
 
The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Route 48 just north of Raymond when Dana Janssen, who was driving, apparently lost control of her car and crossed into the path of an oncoming minivan. Also killed were passengers 19 year-old Jeffrey Masters and 16 year-old Samantha DeLisle, both of Harvel. The minivan driver suffered minor injuries.
 
A candlelight vigil was held Thursday night in Raymond. A memorial fund for the victims has been established at Bank and Trust locations in Raymond. Carlinville, Lichfield, Chatham and Rochester.
