Area police report two more deer-car accidents that took place in recent weeks.
A Springfield man was driving on an unspecified Christian County road on October 27th when a deer appeared in his path. 25 year-old Wayne J. Sowers told police he couldn't avoid striking the animal.
On October 24th, 43 year-old Kenneth Ernst of Morrisonville was headed north on County Highway 1 when a deer ran into the road. His vehicle was damaged in the resultant crash.
