THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Brittany Hester, 29, of Pana was arrested on October 30th for possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Danielle Patrode, 21, of Pana was arrested on October 30th for possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joseph Leckner, 23, of Taylorville was arrested on October 29th on a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $25,000.
Charlotte Jones, 27, of Assumption was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant for methamphetamine percursor.
Holly Conaway, 20, of Taylorville was arrested on October 29th on a bond forfeiture warrant for forgery, theft.
Christopher Spoor, 52, of Waggoner, Illinois was arrested on October 29th on a bond forfeiture warrant on two counts of contempt of court.
ACCIDENTS:
On October 29thm Drew A. Barringer, 22, of Stonington was south bound on 2000 East Road at approximately 2600 north. He fell asleep, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Barringer steered to the left and began skidding sideways in the roadway for approximately ninety feet. He turned nearly one hundred-eighty degrees in the roadway before striking the east ditch on the passenger side. Barringer impacted the ditch, and began to roll. He rolled three times before coming to rest at approximately forty feet to the east of 2000 East Road and just north of 2600 North Road.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLWING ARRESTS:
On October 28thm at approximately 1:12 pm, the Taylorville Police Department was notified of a retail theft involving a female that had left the business. The female, Nina M. Rhoades, 33, of Taylorville, was observed putting several items inside a plastic tote and leaving the store. Rhoades was later located at her residence. She was transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed, and released.
On October 29th, officers were dispatched to 1209 East Poplar to conduct a welfare check. Subsequent to arrival, Joseph A. Leckner, 23, of Springfield, was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Christian County . Leckner was transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
On October 28, Joshua A. Page, 32, of Taylorvlle was arrested on a warrant.
On October 29, Taylorville Police Department was dispatched to 503 West 2nd Street in reference to a report of criminal damage to a vehicle. A. Tolle stated her ex-boyfriend Brain Hays, 30, of Taylorville, broke out her window in her vehicle. The officer spoke with A. Tolle who said Brain Hays broke her window, then left on foot. She said she wanted to press charges against Brian Hays. Hays was located and arrested for criminal damage to property.
On October 29th, officer were dispatched to 1209 East Poplar to conduct a welfare check. Subsequent to the officer arrival, Holly A. Conaway was placed under arrest on a warrant out of Christian County and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
