THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

 Heather Beck, 20, of Tower Hill, was arrested on October 27 on a bond forfeiture warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 

 Vernon Klinefelter, 62, of Taylorville was arrested on October 27 for possession of a controlled substance. 

 Angela Beard, 40, of Decatur, was arrested on October 27 on a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

 Rachel Dixon, 28, of Taylorville, was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear. 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

 On October 25^th officers witnessed a vehicle make an IVC violation.  Subsequent to the investigation, Brian C. Green of Morrisonville, was arrested for driving while his license were suspended.

 On October 27, Rachel Dixon, of Taylorville, was arrested for a valid Sangamon County warrant.  She was transported to the Christian County Sheriff's Office in lieu of bond. 

ACCIDENTS:

 On October 24^th, Delores D. Fagen of Taylorville was traveling west on Lincoln Trail and was nearing the intersection with Fairview Ave.  A deer ran across the roadway and Fagen was not able to stop in time and struck the deer.  Fagen suffered front drivers side damage.  He was unable to drive away from the scene. 

 On October 19^th, Blake A Hadley, 22, of Tower Hill, was traveling south Route 29 ans was nearing the entrance to Lake Taylorville.  A deer ran across the roadway and Hadley was not able to stop in time and struck the deer.  Hadley suffered from front end drivers side damage.  Hadley was able to drive away from the scene.
