Taylorville Development Association Completes Land Swap for New Industrial Park

width=It was announced at Friday's Christian County Economic Development Corporation annual board meeting and luncheon, that the Taylorville Development Association has completed its land swap so that it can begin work toward establishing a new industrial park along Illinois Route 104. The land swap was needed because property the T-D-A owned on the city's northeast side near the A-D-M Bean Mill, did not have access to city sewer.

Ken Hart, president of T-D-A, told Regional Radio News that the swap means the non-profit organization can begin raising the money for infrastructure for the new site.
