THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

 Kamala McCombs, 44, of Vandalia was arrested on October 22 on a bond forfeiture warrant for driving on a suspended/revoked license, third DUI. 

 Hunter Oliver, 22, of Taylorville on a bond forfeiture warrant for consumption of liquor by a minor, and an original arrest warrant for other amount narcotics.

ACCIDENTS:

 On October 11, 2014 James Bertin, 54, of Pana was south bound on Illinois Route 48.  Bertin said he picked his coffee up from the console and the lid popped off causing coffee to spill in his lap.  Bertin said he reached down to pick up the dropped coffee cup an lost control of his 2014 Jeep Patriot.  He veered off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail.  He reported minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.  His vehicle was towed from the scene. 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLOWING ARREST:

 On October 22, officers saw Lacsey Sparlig driving a vehicle on West Pauline.  Officers knew Lacsey Sparling to be suspended.  Subsequent to investigation, Lacsey Sparling of Taylorville was issued a citation for driving while her license were suspended.
