THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

 On October 17, at 9:50 pm officers received at 911 call in reference to a fight in progress at 619 North Cottage.  As officers approached the residence the individuals fighting fled the scene.  Officers later located one of the parties involved on Washington Street near Park Glen Apartments.  After the investigation, Jacob A. Bright, of Taylorville, was arrested for criminal damage to property, battery, and illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bright was transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed and released on a Notice to Appear.
