A Taylorville woman had the misfortune of encountering three deer in an accident Saturday (10-18). According to reports, 27 year-old Michelle E. Becker was headed west on County Highway 12 in a rural area a few miles west of Pana when she spotted two deer in the road. Despite successfully slowing down to avoid them, she struck a third deer, causing damage to the front driver's side of her 2000 Nissan Xterra.
