A man killed in an accident Friday (10-10) in Shelbyville has been identified.

 Shelby County Coroner Brian Green says 45 year-old Tim Powers was killed when a vehicle in the Shelbyville School bus barn apparently fell on him. He was pronounced dead just before 1:00 pm Friday. Powers was the school district's Transportation Director.

 In a prepared statement released to Regional Radio Friday, Shelbyville School Superintendent Denise Bence said: "The district lost a beloved employee today. Our hearts are aching for the family. They are in our prayers."

 The tragedy caused Shelbyville Schools to postpone Friday night's High School football game against Sullivan. The game was played Saturday night.
