There were 8 entries in the 175th Anniversary Celebration Beard contest held Sunday.
The winner of the “Longest Beard” contest, was Calvin Tyler of Taylorville. Kirk Vocks of Taylorville won the “Best Duck Dynasty Look-A-Like” contest, while John Curtin of Taylorville won for “Best Abe Liincoln Look-A-Like”. Fred Gewrberding of Rochester won as the “Most Unique” beard. Each received 50-dollars for being the winner in their category.
The contest was sponsored by Angelo's Pizza in Taylorville.
