What started as an early morning speeding stop ended up with two people being arrested.
Just before 4:00 am Saturday (09-29), a Taylorville officer reportedly saw a vehicle speeding near the intersection of North Cherokee and Bidwell Streets. The officer followed the car to the Palomino Club parking lot on North Webster. After a brief investigation, 24 year-old Brian P. Jaeger was reportedly arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Jaeger's passenger, 19 year-old Karley R. State of Sherman, agreed to be tested for alcohol, a test which reportedly came back positive. The report goes on to say that drug paraphenalia was found in State's purse.
Both Jaeger and State were processed and released.
