THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Troy Donaldson, 24, of Mt. Auburn,was arrested on September 12th, for driving on a suspended/revoked license.
Katrina Ralston, 26, of Nokomis, was arrested on September 12th on a bond forfeiture warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Shane Drum, 33, of Pana, was arrested on September 12th on a bond forfeiture warrant for theft.
Crystal Durham, of Pana, was arrested on September 13th for battery.
Amanda Carnahan, 33, of Taylorville was arrested on September 13th for arson.
Dustin Johnson, 26, of Taylorville was arrested on September 13th for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Ashley Riggs, 30, of Taylorville was arrested on September 14ht for domestic battery.
Randy Allen, 31, of Stonington, was arrested on September 14th for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol and for drugs.
Kevin Green, 34, of Pana, was arrested on September 14th for aggrevated battery to police and on a bond forfeiture warrant for faliure to appear/answer question.
ACCIDENTS:
On September 8, Brandi Hurley, 19, of Taylorville was traveling south bound on 1400 East Road and swerved to miss a deer at approximately 1460 North Road. Hurley struck the ditch with her 2003 Ford Focus. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.
INCIDENT:
On September14, Roy Wilbur called the Sheriff's Office in reference to a theft. Wilburn advised that his grain bin site on 500 North Road, just west of 1800 East Road in Rosamond Township. Wilbur said he wet to the bin site and noticed subject(s) had removed the power cords from the fans and motors. Mr. Wilhour said he has been to the sited to mow the grass, but did not notice the wires missing until today.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
On September 9th at 6:04 pm officers received information from an off duty officer in reference to a subject smoking cannabis in a vehicle in the Wendy's parking lot. Subsequent to investigation, Wyatt Martin, 18, of Sparland, Illinois and Tina Simmons, 47, of Sparland, Illinois were arrested for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On September 13th, a Taylorville police officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of West Spresser and West Street. The driver of the vehicle, Haley Robinson, 21, of Taylorville name was ran through the Taylorville Police Department L.E.A.D.S. and showed her driving privileges were suspended. She was arrested and transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed and released.
On September 13th, at approximately 10:48 am, a Taylorville Police Officer responded to 708 West Vandeveer Street regarding a suspicious person. Upon arrival, the officer noticed smoke coming from the garage located in the rear residence. The fire department was notified, responded and extinguished the fire. The home owner suspected that a female had been at the residence and set the fire. The female was located and an officer spoke to her. The matter is under investigation.
On September 14th, at 3:01 am, officers were dispatched to 718 West Vandeveer in reference to a domestic battery. Ashley Rockford, 30, of Talorville. Was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
