The National Weather Service in Lincoln says that mostly dry conditions are expected Sunday, with lingering thunderstorm chances south of I-70. Highs of 83 to 88 are expected. Chance of rain is 20-40% south of I-70, 10% north of I-70.
Another storm system will move into the region Labor Day bringing good chances for thunderstorms which may produce heavy rainfall as well as a slight risk of severe wind gusts and hail. Highs of 82-88 are expected with a 70% chance of rain.
