THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Richard Budds, 40, of Taylorville was arrested on August 28th on a bond forfeiture warrant for driving on a suspended/revoked license.
ACCIDENTS:
On August 21st, Gary Freitag, 48, of Taylorville was traveling northbound on Linda Lane. Freitag came to the stop sign at the intersection at Kennedy Road. And Linda Lane. He tried to come to a stop but the 2001 Harley Davidson he was driving hit loose gravel. The motorcycle went on its side at the intersection. Freitag stated he thought his arm was broke. He was taken by ambualnce to Taylorville Memorial Hospital for treatment.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
Kim Long, 43, of Taylorville was turning from Madison Street left onto Spresser Street. Nola Lefever, 75, of Palmer, was turning left onto Spresser. Long and Lefever struck in the middle of Spresser Street.
Caroline Thompson, 77, of Taylorville was stopped at a stop sign in her 2010 Chevy Impala at the intersection of McAdams Drive and East Park Street. She failed to yield the right of way to Dalton Tarr, 21, of Rochester and struck the rear passenger wheel of his 2011 Dodge pickup.
