C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation, Board of Directors held their 49th annual board meeting in Effingham on August 7 with over 200 people in attendance. C.E.F.S. showcased their annual accomplishments in helping people and changing lives.

CEO Paul White indicated that the organization had very effectively served the needs of the communities’ limited-income population in the service delivery area. White said 27,910 people received agency services, with the assistance of 247 local community partners and with the help of 4,028 volunteers providing 144,972 volunteer hours the agency was able to provide local coordinated efforts to benefit limited-income people.
