THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Nathan T. Mount, 19, of 1218 South Fourth Street, Shelbyville, was arrested August 6 on a warrant for 725 5/110-3.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On August 5 at 2:22pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer observed Keri C. Ellis, 34, of Taylorville operating a vehicle and the office knew Ellis to have a suspended driver's license. The officer verified Ellis' driver's license status through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. The officer issued Ellis a citation on scene and released her on a notice to appear.

CRASH:

On August 5 at 12:01pm, Ella M. Jackson, 77, of Edinburg advised she was traveling east on Springfield Road at the intersection with Cheney Street when Anna M. Babbs, 71, of Taylorville "crowded her". Jackson advised Babbs struck her driver's mirror with the passenger side of Babbs' vehicle. Jackson received damage to the driver's door, driver's mirror, and front quarter panel on the driver's side. Babbs advised she was traveling east on Springfield Road at the intersection with Cheney Street when she was struck by Jackson who was traveling in the same direction. Babbs received damage to the passenger side door. No injuries were reported.
