The Taylorville Police Department reports one person was injured in a single vehicle crash on Friday. Around 7:33am, 80-year-old Mary E. Cundiff of Taylorville reportedly told police she was attempting to park her vehicle on the north side of Spring Garden when her vehicle jumped the sidewalk and struck the entryway. Cundiff said she did not know what caused the accident or how her vehicle ended up striking the building. Cundiff said the only thing she could remember was the impact. Cundiff was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital with injuries described as minor by the report and her vehicle was towed from the scene.
