The Taylorville Police Department reports that one person was arrested on a drug charge on Tuesday. A little after midnight, a Taylorville Police Department officer made contact with 19-year-old Alex M. Minix of Taylorville. Upon further investigation, Minix was arrested for possession of cannabis. Minix was transported to Taylorville Police Department for processing and released on a notice to appear.
