The Shelbyville Rotary Club held its weekly meeting Monday. Captain Monte Bowers, Illinois National Guard Chaplain and Associate Minister at First Christian Church came and shared from his experiences and work as a military chaplain. The Club learned a great deal about what it means to minister to military personnel and their families.
In Rotary business, Denise Bence delivered a thank you note from a Rotary Scholarship recipient Alexis Hall. Jerry Yockey will be the program chairman for the next meeting.
