THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Michael S. Burke, 45, of Springfield was arrested July 9 on a bond forfeiture for obstruction of justice.

Zachary D. Liberty, 29, of Kincaid was arrested July 9 on an original arrest warrant for theft.

Steven D. Leonard, 34, of Taylorville was arrested July 9 for driving on a revoked/suspended license.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On July 9th at 3:50 pm, Taylorville Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop at Houston and Main Cross. Subsequent to the stop, Tony L. Riva, 43, of Tovey was arrested for driving while license suspended.

On July 9th a Taylorville Police Department officer was dispatched to Chestnut and Poplar to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Laticia D. Vandenbergh, 28, of Taylorville said she was traveling west in alley north of Poplar and couldn't see around trailer, and struck Tom L. Barding, 50, of Taylorville. Barding said he didn't see Vandenbergh when he was traveling northbound on Chestnut. Barding was struck in the side by Vandenbergh. No injuries were reported.
