The national online publication CNN Money recently recognized Lake Land College among the nation’s best 100 community colleges in preparing students for graduation. 

Lake Land College’s 54 percent success rate is also in the top 25 in the state, tied for seventh. The study, conducted by a joint venture between CNN Money and College Measures, is based on the success rate of graduating students within three years or students transferring to a four-year university.

According to the annual Transfer Follow-Up Report, the GPA of students who transfer from Lake Land College is better than students who begin their education at that university.
