THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On June 18 at 4:46pm, Luke W. Waddington, 19, of Assumption was traveling south on Route 29. Just north of 725 East Road, Waddington reportedly fell asleep, crossed the center line and struck David L. Carron, 26, of Springfield in the left rear of his vehicle. Rhonda M. Law of Owaneco was driving behind Waddington and saw him swerve, go off the road, and then cross over the center line striking Carron's vehicle. Waddington advised that he did not remember anything and that he must have fallen asleep. Waddington was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of injuries described as minor by the report. Carron reported no injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

ARRESTS:

William R. Watring, 35, of PO Box 47, Mt. Auburn, was arrested June 19 on a bond forfeiture for reckless driving.

Brian M. Mahnke, 29, of 578 North US Highway 51, Pana, was arrested June 19 on a bond forfeiture for contempt of court.

Tanya K. Mansfield, 31, of 412 Northeast 15th Apt B5, Casey, was arrested June 19 on a warrant for manufacturing/delivery of cannabis.

Jessica M. Williams, 25, of 2100 Grand Boulevard Apt B5, was arrested June 19 for concealing a fugitive.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On June 16 at 4:22pm, Alicia L. Gilbert, 67, of Taylorville was traveling west on Franklin Street. Gilbert stopped at the intersection of Shumway and Franklin Streets and then proceeded through the intersection. Scott A. Arkebauer, 29, of Nokomis was traveling south on Shumway Street and stopped at the intersection of Shumway and Franklin Streets. Arkebauer then went into the intersection and struck Gilbert's vehicle causing damage. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene and no injuries were reported.
