High stalks of corn in central Illinois is good news for farmers, but not so good for drivers. Some fields are four to five feet high. Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp says every year at least a few accidents are caused by drivers who can't see around corn fields. He says several county roads have unmarked intersections, but its still very important to make a complete stop. Kettlekamp says there have not been any corn-related accidents yet this year, but he wants drivers to be aware of the hazard.
