The Christian County Sheriff's Office reports that 1 person was injured after hitting a deer Sunday. Around 8:15pm, 57-year-old Joyce M. Leady of Decatur was traveling east on County 2. A deer ran into the roadway and Leady hit the deer causing damage to the vehicle. Leady was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur for treatment of injuries that were described as minor by the report.
