The Taylorville Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify a person who robbed the Spot Free Car Wash. During the early morning hours of Monday an unknown male subject stole an undetermined amount of money from a machine at the Spot Free Car Wash located at 800
North Webster Street in Taylorville. The subject is described as a white male, short beard, wearing a blue sweatshirt with “Texas” across the front, an Under Armor baseball style hat, blue sweat pants with a white stripe and sandals. The theft was captured on surveillance video and a picture taken from the video can be seen at taylorvilledailynews.com. The same subject may be responsible
for other thefts in the area.
