The Taylorville Police Department has released some details on a brawl that occurred at Lake Taylorville over the weekend. On Saturday around 8:03 p.m., Taylorville Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call at Lake Taylorville in the area of Lake Lot 239 involving numerous people. Officers arrived and were advised some of the subjects
involved in the incident were at the Lake Marina Area.

Officers on scene were informed of injuries sustained during the altercation, however; the victim(s) reportedly refused to sign initial charges regarding the incident. At least one injury required medical
treatment.

An investigation into this incident is ongoing and charges may be filed at a later date pending further information.
