THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On May 27 at 4:09pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer was on patrol and observed Joshua Wells, 24, of Taylorville, operating a motor vehicle on Springfield Road. The officer requested Dispatch to check his driver's license status which revealed he did not have a valid driver's license. Wells was arrested for no valid driver's license.

On May 27 at 7:02pm, Taylorville Police Department officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Palmer in reference to a battery. Following the investigation, Matthew L. Harden, 38, of Taylorville was arrested for battery.

On May 7:27pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer located a 16-year-old male juvenile that the officer knew was wanted on a Christian County juvenile warrant. The male was placed under arrest and transported to post. He was later transported to Madison County Juvenile Detention Center by the Christian County Sheriff's Office.
