The Shelbyville Rams shut out Effingham/St. Anthony Saturday for the Regional Baseball Championship in Vandalia. The Bulldogs took a 3-0 loss as heard on Solid Gold 98.3/WRAN. It was the second straight regional title for the Rams. Pitcher Luke McConnell was the Crossroad Car Connection Player-of-the-Game with 5 strike-outs and giving up just 3 hits for a complete game shutout. Shelbyville moves on to the sectional semi-final Thursday in Greenville with the broadcast on WRAN.
