The Cyclones scored 1 grand slam home run in the game that improved their record to 26 and 6 overall, 13 and 3 in conference play. The Tornadoes dropped to 14 and 13 overall, 7 and 8 in conference play. Tornado thirdbasewoman, Katie Patton, was credited with a 2-RBI double in the 1st inning, giving Taylorville their only 2 runs scored.
