Country star Suzy Bogguss performed for broadcasters from around the world Monday afternoon, at the International Broadcasters Idea Bank convention in Sarasota, Florida.

Ownership and management of the Miller Media Group radio stations located in Taylorville and Clinton, are getting new ideas about service to their communities, during this week's International Broadcasters Idea Bank convention in Sarasota, Florida.

 M-M-G president Randal J. Miller, along with Taylorville cluster general manager Kami Payne, account manager Bryan Payne, and Clinton cluster station manager Jared White, are attending this week's convention.

The Miller Media Group was invited to join this by-invitation group of small and medium market broadcasters, in 1993.

Part of the convention included an acoustic performance by country music star Suzy Bogguss, who is originally from Aledo, Illinois.  Bogguss, who had a string of hits in the 1980's and 90's, now lives near Sarasota with her husband of 28 years and family.

Bogguss sang many of her hits to the broadcasters from all across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and received a standing ovation at the end of her one hour performance.

The convention continues thru this week in Florida.
