One person was sent to the hospital following a one vehicle accident Saturday. Around 10:30pm, a Christian County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries at 1350 East and 800 North. The deputy arrived on scene and saw the vehicle in the southeast ditch at the intersection. The deputy spoke with the driver, a 16-year-old female from Taylorville, and the two passengers. One of the passengers stated she had a possible neck injury and was transported by ambulance to Taylorville Memorial Hospital. The driver and front seat passenger refused treatment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
