The Lake Land College Human Services Club recently donated children’s school supplies and cleaning supplies to HOPE of East Central Illinois. The donation was made possible by fundraisers held throughout the school year.

HOPE of East Central Illinois is an organization that provides housing, outreach, prevention and education for victims of domestic violence and the public in general.

The Human Services Club provides students an opportunity to get involved in fund-raising and direct service activities for area agencies and groups who help others. Each semester the club members decide on the activities that they want to do as well as the agencies they will donate to. The Human Service Club is all about helping people and all students are welcome to join.
