Lake Land College is now enrolling students for its Basic Nursing Assistant Program in Paris. Classes begin June 9 and will be held at the Paris Community Hospital and at Paris Health Care.

The Basic Nursing Assistant Program is a one semester, eight-credit-hour certificate program approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).The program includes 95 hours of theory/classroom and 40 hours of clinical practice. This program provides instruction in basic nursing skills in theory, laboratory, and clinical settings including basic anatomy, medical terminology, communication skills, safety, infection control and patient rights.
