Several Lake Land College Honors Program students recently presented their undergraduate research findings at the annual honors luncheon, where they were also recognized for their achievements.  The topics varied from virtual Texas Hold ‘Em to organizational communication and wildlife resource management.

There were six members of the Honors Program this year, including freshmen Chelsey Lorance of Charleston and Adriene Lane of Sullivan. Sophomores include Daniel Brown of Neoga, Todd Goeckner of Teutopolis, Hannah Fogleman of Shelbyville, and Kolten Postin of Moweaqua.

At the luncheon, students were also presented with Scholastic Achievement Awards. This year, the freshman award went to Lane and the sophomore winner was Brown. Lane will receive a scholarship for the award while Brown will receive a scholarship for the award and for graduating with Full Honors Program status. Postin and Goeckner also received scholarships for graduating with Associate Honors Program status.
