A Taylorville doctor and his wife could serve up to 30 years in prison when they're sentenced this fall.  Federal Judge Richard Mills convicted 62-year-old Doctor Vernon Klinefelter and 60-year-old Geraldine Klinefelter on Tuesday of lying to and concealing information from the government. Dr. Klinefelter is a family practitioner who is now retired. Geraldine is a nurse practitioner. The illegal move helped the pair to gain 100-thousand dollars in Social Security Disability payments. The crimes were committed between 2005-2007. The Klinefelters are scheduled to be sentenced on September 4th.
