The Taylorville Police Department once again had their hands full during an arrest Friday. Around 10:50pm, Taylorville Police Department dispatch received a call from Beth Burton that she needed assistance in removing an intoxicated man from her residence. Upon arrival, the officer noticed that there were signs of a struggle and heard several men arguing. The officer was invited into the residence and told that the intoxicated man was in the other room. After a brief investigation, the man, who was identified as 32-year-old Mark J.
