Representative Rodney Davis of Taylorville recently voted in favor of bi-partisan legislation designed to protect coal mining jobs. The Congressman says the jobs are vital to the Central Illinois economy:

The bill, “Preventing Government Waste and Protecting Coal Mining Jobs in America Act”, passed in the House on a vote of 229 to 192.
