Two pieces of legislation sponsored by State Representative Wayne Rosenthal of Morrisonville, and passed out of the House this week, address conservation issues related to trapping and waterfowl outfitting in Illinois. Rep. Rosenthal explains the reason for one of the bills:

The other bill requires individuals who have not held a trapping license within the past three immediate years to take a trapping safety course before receiving their license. Both bills now head to Senate for consideration.
