The video footage from the armed robbery at Route Mart has been released. To recap:

Around 7:13pm Thursday night, Taylorville Police Department officers responded to an armed robbery at Route Mart located at 120 East Park Street in Taylorville. The suspect entered the business with a dark colored revolver and demanded money from the register. During the armed robbery of the business, a weapon was fired but no injuries were reported. The suspect fled the immediate area on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a male, wearing a blue and white jacket, dark blue jeans and white sneakers. The suspect may have gotten into a silver Chevrolet passenger car after fleeing the business on foot.
