After nearly 5 decades as a dentist in Taylorville, Dr. Ron Mizer (My-zer) is retiring. Dr. Mizer says he decided to become a dentist at a relatively early age:

Dr. Mizer has been active in the community over the years, as a long-time member of the Taylorville School Board, member of the Hospital Board, and served on the Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Board. He has also been active with the Christian County YMCA and the Junior Achievement Program. His hand-picked replacements will be Dr. Amanda Lewis and her husband Dr. Greg Harmon.
